Allen_PPC_HeroWow, bereits acht internationale Speaker haben wir für die diesjährige OMCap gewonnen! Aktuell dabei sind Online Experten aus Großbritannien, der Schweiz, Österreich und den USA. Dabei wird es nicht bleiben, denn bereits jetzt steht fest, dass viele weitere renommierte, internationale Referenten ihre Reise im Herbst nach Berlin antreten werden. Wir sind stolz darauf, dass die OMCap sich auch weltweit einen Namen gemacht hat und attraktiv für so viele bedeutetende Experten ist.

Aber wer sind all diese Referenten, die wir für Euch ausgewählt haben, um Euch mit den neusten OM Learnings auszustatten? Wir wollen Euch regelmäßig neue Speaker vorstellen. Den Anfang hat bereits die charmante Amerikanerin Rachel Pasqua gemacht. Und auch heute haben wir einen Amerikaner im Interview, der mit seinen über 11 Jahren gesammelten Erfahrungen im Online Marketing ein regelrechtes Internet Urgestein ist.

Jeff AllenJeff Allen ist Director of Paid Search bei Hanapin Marketing, einer auf PPC Management Services spezialiserten Agentur aus dem US-Bundestaat Indiana.

OMCap: Jeff, what are the different working areas/projects you work for?

Jeff: I do only PPC, which includes Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and various display networks. I love being hyperfocused on one channel which allows me to stay ahead of the curve and make sure we are providing our clients the best value for their PPC spend possible.

OMCap: Have you been to Berlin before? Are you looking forward to Berlin?

Jeff: I have never been to Berlin and am incredibly excited to visiting the city. My parents where married in Frankfurt, when my father was in the army, so getting to Germany has always been something I have wanted to do.

OMCap: What are you expecting of a German Online Marketing Conference?

Jeff: This conference seems to be nothing like the others I have been to. I love the focus on networking, so even though we don’t operate heavily in Europe, I am excited to talk to those who do and see what differences there are.

OMCap: Could you give us a little sneak-preview what your session will be about?

Jeff: Hanapin Marketing migrated their accounts to Enhanced Campaigns fairly early and the results have been poor. CPC’s have gone up, mobile traffic has increased and tablet CPA has gone up drastically. I will be talking about the specifics of what we saw initially, tactics we have used to combat the issues, and where I see Enhanced Campaigns going in the future.

OMCap: What hobbies do you have?

Jeff: I am one of the few Americans that watches Formula 1. Although after Michael Schumacher retired (the first time) I have started watching it a bit less. I also love Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, which has become quite the expensive hobby that luckily my wife enjoys as well.
