The OMCap offers national and international speakers a platform to present in front of a comprehensive audience and to share their expert knowledge with all participants of the conference. This year again, at the OMCap 2015, we guarantee a high-end line up with the most entertaining and professional speakers of the online marketing industry. The speakers are exclusively choosen by the host, therefore there won’t be a Call for Speakers for this year’s OMCap. The following speakers have already confirmed their attendance:

  • Aaron Friedman

    Aaron is the Director of Innovation at Five Blocks, a brand and reputation marketing agency, where his role is to develop new processes driven by research and technology in order to improve the company’s services and offerings. He oversees and is responsible for the proprietary reputation monitoring dashboard, which is currently in development. Additionally, he plays a major role in business development and company branding by contributing thought leadership. His experience spans from global agencies to small startups.

    You will find Friedman writing about digital marketing and the relationship between search & social here and on Search Engine Land in his monthly search and social column. You can also find Aaron speaking at SMX, PubCon and other conferences around the country.

  • Alexander Korth

    Alexander Korth is head of Webmetrics, the web analytics agency of the ZenithOptimedia group. Webmetrics offers its customers a vendor-neutral consultation in a highly complex environment: the analysis and optimization of websites and apps. Alexander’s expertise lies in data, audiences and technology. Prior to his time at Webmetrics, Alexander worked for United Internet Media and was responsible for the portfolio of the data-driven targeting and insights products, e.g. CRM targeting. Alexander did his doctorate on privacy in social media and ran the research sector information retrieval and machine learning (AI) with the topical focus on user modeling, personalization and recommender systems at TU Berlin.

  • Andrew Pringle

    Andy Pringle started his media career working for Acxiom in 2003. Joining the Publicis Groupe in 2005 working for Zed Media, latterly ZenithOptimedia, and then most recently Performics. With a background in direct mail and CRM, he has spent the last 5 years establishing Performics’ paid social offering; approaching the space like a traditional media channel, whilst employing the very latest targeting, optimisation and measurement techniques associated with programmatic display.

  • Bjoern Sjut

    Bjoern Sjut was chief marketing and sales officer at be2 and C-date, two of the biggest online dating platforms worldwide. Since then he has founded the companies Finc3 and Navinum. Bjoern is familiar with mobile advertising both from the advertiser’s perspective, because he has been responsible for monthly seven-digit performance marketing budgets, and from the publisher’s perspective from his time at Bertelsmann.

  • Carsten Frien

    Carsten Frien is a serial technology entrepreneur based in Berlin. He is founder and CEO of www.roq.ad, the leader in cross-device technology in Europe. Carsten loves starting companies from scratch, investing early as a business angel and helping mature companies scale. All his entrepreneurial activities are combined under www.qlv.berlin — Quantum Leap Ventures. Carsten scaled his last venture, Madvertise to more than 100 employees across 3 continents, EUR 20 M revenue run rate and raised more than EUR 10 M from US and EU VCs.

    Carsten Petzold is a cash-flow and bottom line driven Serial Entrepreneur. A native German, he moved to the USA in 2005 launching spreadshirt.com. In 2008 he co-founded LTLprints.com – an e-commerce company selling larger-than-life wall prints. In 2012 he sold the company. A Laureate of the Empact100 Carsten was recognized as one of 100 entrepreneurs 30 and under at the White House in Washington, DC in 2011. Carsten holds a degree in Business Administration from HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management, one of the leading private business schools in Germany. English feels like a native tongue and Carsten also speaks Russian and French fluently. Nowadays Carsten tackles the AdTech arena being the co-founder of Applicata.   • Christian Edel

    Christian Edel is a member of the management at Textprovider GmbH and responsible for the business development department. Textprovider is an agency for unique content and content marketing. With more than 2,500 chosen editors in 15 languages, Textprovider belongs to the largest provider of professional content creation for websites worldwide. Prior to this, Christian was managing partner of a creative agency for eight years and was in charge for medium level customers, as well as for DAX groups in the field of online and offline communication.

  • Conrad Morbitzer

    Conrad Morbitzer is Senior Business Consultant at Webtrekk. He makes sure that content providers and e-commerce websites with heavy traffic successfully implement and use Webtrekk Live Analytics. His focus is on Webtrekk Digital Intelligence Suite. Conrad holds a degree in Marketing from Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes – Sao Paulo (UMC), where he graduated best of his class, and a diploma in Business English from Dresden Technical University. He has a strong background in web analytics for e-commerce and lead generation as well as in marketing for FMCGs. In the past he has worked on projects for companies such as Philips, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Reckitt-Benckiser, UoP and others.

  • Cosmin Negrescu

    Cosmin Alexandru Negrescu is the founder and CEO of SEOmonitor. Interested in the online and technology areas since college, Cosmin started his entrepreneurial path at only 19, when he founded the Bunt Studio agency. Following the partnership with Fribourg Capital, he remodeled Bunt Studio, from a digital agency with a half million euro turnover, into the largest SEO agency in Romania and the developer of the SEOmonitor.com application. His eagerness to promote and support the SEO industry has made him a speaker at well-known conferences in the local online business: Internet & Mobile World, GPeC, TeCOMM. For the same reason, since 2013 he got involved in financing and organizing the biggest Search Engine Marketing event in Romania – SEM Days and recently the SearchBootcamp event in London.

  • Daniel Kaliner

    Daniel is senior SEO consultant at PerformicsAKM3, one of the three largest agencies for search engine and performance marketing in Germany. He has worked in the agency as strategic and technical adviser since November 2012 and is responsible for the coordination of the advice team. Prior to this, the business economist built up the SEO division at Groupon as head of SEO successfully and conceptualized and implemented international SEO for 42 countries. Due to his SEO knowledge, Daniel attends industry events as a speaker e.g. SEO Campixx. Next to his passion for online marketing, he uses his free time for sport activities such as tennis, riding his racing bicycle and he enjoys traveling.

    Erik is a general manager of a consulting firm for performance marketing optimization in Hamburg. The focus areas are the strategic and operative consulting in all fields of performance marketing: from relevant performance marketing channels, e.g. search engine marketing, display advertising and affiliate marketing, to tracking and monitoring to data base marketing and CRM. Additionally, online media audits and a vendor-neutral range of online marketing technology and agencies belong to the core business of DIGITAL FORWARD.

  • Fernando Angulo

    Fernando Angulo is the head of international partnerships at SEMrush, an online service that provides competitive intelligence including keyword research, paid research and backlink analysis. Fernando is actively involved in the search marketing world, and he is a regular speaker at SEO and digital marketing events worldwide. He specializes in B2B search marketing and lead generation programs. As an integral member of the SEMrush team, Fernando uses his knowledge and experience to define development strategies according to new trends and current market requirements. Fernando received his Master’s degree in world economics from the University of Saint Petersburg in the Russian Federation.

  • Florian Heinemann

    Florian Heinemann is chiefly responsible for the division of marketing, CRM and business intelligence at Project A Ventures. Prior to this, between 2007 and 2012 Florian built up and led the same areas of responsibility at Rocket Internet GmbH as a managing director and also accompanied projects such as TopTarif, eDarling and Zalando. Before joining Rocket, Florian was a co-founder and a managing director of marketing at JustBooks/AbeBooks (1999-2002,) and was responsible for the growth of the online marketing division at Jamba!, as well as the expansion of iLove (2003-2005,). In 2006, he built up the online marketplace Antikoerper-online.de as a co-founder. Additionally, he is a business angel for more than 40 start-ups in the fields of internet and media, e.g. AdScale, Ladenzeile, Netmoms, Trivago and Tradoria. Next to his practical activities, Florian completed his doctorate at Handelhochschule Leipzig and RWTH Aachen in the area of entrepreneurship/innovation management and was a visiting scholar at Wharton School.

  • Gianluca Fiorelli

    Gianluca Fiorelli is an SEO & inbound marketing strategist and independent consultant operating globally. Gianluca entered in the SEO world quite casually more than 10 years ago. In 2003, in fact, he was asked to direct and manage the web sites of the TV channels he was employed in because “he was good using Internet”. Obviously, being good in surfing the web does not mean being a good web marketer, so, when he started noticing that his websites weren’t visible at all in the SERPs, Gianluca discovered that there was something called SEO, started studying and experimenting with it, and so his adventure in search marketing begun. 12 years later, Gianluca is a well-known SEO, who worked and works with some of the best known brands (but also with great small to medium companies), he is a Moz Associate, a stateofdigital.com official blogger and a proactive member of the SEO community. One thing, though, he knows: that there is so much left he can still learn.

    Ian Lurie is Founder and CEO of Portent, a digital marketing company he started 1995. He is co-author of the 2nd edition of the Web Marketing All-In-One for Dummies and wrote the sections on SEO, blogging, social media and web analytics. He’s recorded training for Lynda.com, writes regularly for the Portent Blog and has been published on AllThingsD, Forbes.com and TechCrunch. And, Ian speaks at conferences around the world, including SearchLove, MozCon, SIC and ad:Tech. His random educational background includes a B.A. in History from UC San Diego and a degree in Law from UCLA. Along the way, he’s been a very amateur competitive cyclist, a bike messenger, a roof consultant, a technical writer and an Adobe FrameMaker consultant. You may find him teaching his kids to play Dungeons and Dragons on the weekends, or dragging his tongue on the ground as he pedals his way up Seattle’s ridiculously steep hills.

    Jennifer Bölitz is an online marketing manager and SEA expert at PerformicsAKM3, one of the three largest agencies for search engine and performance marketing in Germany. Jennifer has been at PerformicsAKM3 since 2012 and was significantly involved in building up the SEA team there which she has been leading ever since. Her heart beats for the operative craft as well as analytic-creative strategies to constantly enhance customers’ accounts. Born and bred in Berlin, Jennifer worked in the maintenance of online games before joining online marketing and continues to passionately conduct her own browser game in her free time. Because of her SEA expertise, Jennifer is a regular speaker at industry events e.g. SEAcamp. During her masters, Jennifer had already begun working in the field of marketing at Berlin Heart and Infopark.

    Konstantin Kanin is the co-founder and CEO of DaCompany, Poznan marketing agency. Gathering his team of the Russian-speaking marketers in Poland, he advises and promotes companies from the EU in the Russian search engines, social and mass media. Konstantin is originally from Belarus, since 2009 he specializes in SEO and SEM in the Russian search engines – Yandex and Google.ru.

  • Manuel Hinz

    Manuel Hinz was involved in the set-up of several of e-commerce start-ups and supervised as head of corporate development and was the interim-CFO during the sale of DailyDeal to Google. Following, Manuel founded the price comparison site Toroleo together with Project A Venture, and as interims manager, Manuel was responsible for the marketing of Scarosso. Prior to this, Manuel studied Business Economics at FH Kiel and the University of North Florida. In 2015, Manuel and Markus Wübben joined together in order to found CrossEngage, a cloud-based solution for cross-channel marketing organization.

    Mark Leinemann is Mr. WOM. Under this name, the experienced marketing expert provides his enormous word of mouth marketing knowledge to companies. Mark is the first word of mouth marketing specialist in Switzerland and belongs to the leading experts for buzz marketing and recommendation marketing in the German speaking area. Before Mark started Mr. WOM, he was temporarily responsible as country manager in DACH of a Dutch WOM marketing provider.     Markus is the CEO of the online marketing agency PerformicsAKM3 and advises in the fields of strategic, technical and contextual search engine optimization. PerformicsAKM3 is one of the three largest agencies for search engine and performance marketing in Germany. During his business studies in Bochum and Dortmund, Markus led the SEO division of a Cologne start up until 2009. Before founding AKM3 Markus worked at Rocket Internet GmbH and was responsible for the online marketing of well-known companies like Zalando and eDarling. Additionally, Markus issues SEO relevant articles in professional journals on a regular basis.   • Dr. Markus Wübben

    Dr. Markus Wübben is an experienced marketing expert who has been responsible for the development of data-driven marketing applications, as well as start-ups for the last years. As Global Product Owner at Rocket Internet, Markus developed a multi-channel campaign management solution and worked at Arvato/Bertelsmann as head of industry promotions. Prior to this, Markus studied informatics at TU Dortmund and graduated in data-driven marketing at TU Munich. In 2015, Markus and Manuel Hinz joined together in order to found CrossEngage, a cloud-based solution for cross-channel marketing orchestration.

  • Matthäus Michalik

    Matthäus Michalik is a senior consultant at PerformicsAKM3, one of the three largest agencies for search engine and performance marketing in Germany. Matthäus leads the international link marketing team that serves customers in 14 languages and over 20 countries, and was significantly involved in building up the team three years ago. With his expertise of strategic and technical search engine optimization, he is also a regularly requested speaker on national and international conferences e.g. SEOCampixx in Berlin and SeoZone in Turkey. Before Matthäus came to AKM3 he worked in online marketing at Hitmeister and SoQuero. The self-proclaimed technique geek is online 24/7 and rarely puts down his smartphone or laptop.   • Melanie Riedel

    Melanie Riedel is a passionate e-mail marketer with more than 15 years of media experience. She started with display marketing to burst into e-mail marketing later on, when the use of the new method came from the USA to Germany. She has worked for the Schober Information Group and the Adlink Internet Media GmbH. For 12 years, Melanie has been advising customers with her company MR Consulting, either project based (e.g. Simyo, Deutsche Post, Berge & Meer) or in interim projects (e.g. TUI and Schwab). In addition, Melanie is an address broker and imparts B2B and B2C addresses, internationally as well.     Spencer Altman is head of business consulting at Webtrekk. Since 2009, he has been working with companies worldwide with a strong focus on Europe, to help them to get out more from their digital business. Lately, Spencer’s main projects were in the finance and media sector, where business integration of digital data and organizational topics play a critical role. Spencer gained his first experiences in digital analytics in 2006 as business and KPI analyst at weeworld.com, a social network in the UK. He worked six years as a business process consulting at Accenture. Spencer gained his MBA at HEC in Paris.

  • Tobias Röver

    Tobias Röver is social media manager at Microsoft Deutschland GmbH. He learnt the basics of communication during his studies of media & communication science as well as during several internships, e.g. at L’Oréal Paris. At Microsoft, Tobias has been responsible for the customer approach regarding the products of Windows, Surface and Office since 2013.

  • Uwe Becker – Keynote

    After his studies in economics, Uwe Becker started at Unilever. Consequently, many different positions in marketing occurred for Becker, from Union Deutsche Lebensmittelwerke to Lever and Langnese-Iglo. In 1992, Becker was responsible for the setup of the media section at Langnese-Iglo and later he took care of all coordination of the department. From 1999, he was media director at Unilever Deutschland and from 2005 onwards responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the management of the communication services division. In addition, he worked in a variety of organizations and committees, these were: chairman at OWM (Organisation Werbungtreibende im Markenverband), board of AGF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fernsehforschung), administrative board at IVW and presidential council at ZAW. Since February 2014, Becker has worked independently as business executive of Uwe Becker Media & Marketing Beratung GmbH. His activity emphasis lies in the consultation of media, SMEs advertising and (promotional) organizations. He supports them all in media and marketing concerns and offers media training programs.

    Viljo is a conversion optimization expert and CEO at ConversionXL Agency. ConversionXL Agency helps businesses around the globe to earn more money out of their online businesses.
